Psychotherapy with Gay Men

You don't have to arrive in therapy knowing exactly what's wrong. Sometimes you know the problem clearly. Sometimes you just know that something isn't working anymore.

Issues I Help With

Overthinking interactions, anticipating the worst, or feeling unable to quiet your mind and settle.

Feeling disconnected or unseen—even when you have friends, dates, or an active social life.

Repeating the same dating or relationship patterns, struggling with vulnerability, or wanting a more satisfying connection.

Examining comparison, gym culture, aging, and the ways appearance becomes tied to confidence and self-worth.

Working with performance anxiety, avoidance, desire, communication, and the emotional complications of sex and intimacy.

Navigating changes in work, relationships, identity, or direction—and the difficulty of leaving one chapter behind.

Meet Logan.

I'm a gay man and therapist who works primarily with gay men. My approach is practical, collaborative, and psychodynamic. I'll listen closely, ask direct questions, and point out what I see when it matters.

Beyond the immediate problem.

We can work on the problem that brought you in while also paying attention to the patterns underneath it. My approach is psychodynamic, relational, and engaged. Together, we look at how earlier relationships, expectations, and ways of protecting yourself may be shaping what happens now—in relationships, at work, in sex, and in how you feel about yourself. The aim is not insight for its own sake. It is to understand what keeps repeating so that something different becomes possible.

Start with a conversation.

You don't have to arrive knowing exactly what's wrong. Sometimes you know the problem clearly. Sometimes you just know that something isn't working anymore. If you're considering therapy, reach out. We can begin with a conversation about what has been happening and whether working together makes sense.
