I grew up in southeastern Kentucky in a working-class family and later spent my high-school years in Delaware. Moving between places and social worlds made me attentive early to the ways people adapt, conceal parts of themselves, and try to find belonging.
I came to psychotherapy through lived experience and clinical work. Since 2015, I have worked in crisis services, inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, and private practice. Along the way, I earned my MSW, became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and completed three years of post-graduate training in adult psychodynamic psychotherapy.
My work is psychodynamic, relational, and engaged. We can address the immediate concern while also understanding the patterns beneath it—especially in relationships, sex, self-worth, work, and the ways gay men learn to protect themselves.

Start with a conversation.
You don't have to arrive in therapy knowing exactly what's wrong. Sometimes you know the problem clearly. Sometimes you just know that something isn't working anymore. If you're considering therapy, reach out. We can begin with a conversation about what has been happening and whether working together makes sense.
